MIRROR.

Yesterday was a stressful and, as expected, chill day of celebration in honor of my tiny nephews first birthday.

There was cake, there was jello, there was more candy here than the local stores, all which is either going to waste or eventually end up giving us diabetes, and of course, there were the forceful guests who came only because they thought it would be an asshole thing to do NOT to come.

In either case, I'm glad my little nephew seemed to be a little happy, even though he had no idea what was happening. That cute little happy smile he had as he heard people randomly sing as he stood with his cake and tiny "1" candle was absolutely priceless and I'll edit that video to not hear the annoying voices of everyone else.

Lately, I haven't had energy. Not only to blog, but in general I just haven't had the motivation to do anything. Most of my days are the same. Most of my time is spent the same way. None of the times I have for breaks are used for such a thing. (I mean, what's that really?)

It appears I've fallen into that familiar routine. The kind that we dread at 18 and the one we inevitably fall into in the ordinary world. Not bad. Not good, but not bad. It's just bland.

Now, before I go on and on about how much I hate the same old thing over and over again, I'll just stop myself right there since in the end, it honestly won't matter. I'm hoping that some time in the near future there is something to look forward to. Something that gives me that little push to do something. Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That's all I can really say for now.

Now for the point of this entry.
Mirror, Mirror on the wall.....
I was watching a show on Netflix called "Black Mirror" and even though we've only watched two episodes of it, it promises to be both the cause of my nightmares in both how horrifying it is, but also how dark and deep rooted it's lessons are when it comes to life and technology. It appears to surround the many fears around the advancement of the media and technology in society. The first episode is very pastel in color, but it's content very dark. It's second episode seems very carefree but with a horrifying phobia and deep dark fear. It's pretty interesting regardless of how graphic and philosophically damaging it is.

Episode two is the reason for my journal entry. It asks a question that many people are asked in a different way. We're all often asked what our biggest fear is after all. This isn't just about you being afraid of spiders, of you being afraid of ghosts or shadows. Or Aliens. I mean no one is really afraid of these things as much anymore. It appears that the fears of the world apart from being bitten or scratched have publicly being forced out into admitting there's nothing more horrifying than the human brain.

So, if you were paid an insane amount of money to face your biggest fears in life in one room, would you do it? Do you think you could survive?

Tomorrow I will attempt to return to my usual routine of healthy eating and walking. It was thrown off because of a terrible stomach flu. Time to get some zzZ's in.

Toodles~
